Sales reports to Google Sheets Intermediate
Have your bot pull orders on a schedule and build a daily or weekly sales sheet with revenue, units, top products, refunds and a chart.
What you'll learn
- Designing the sheet
- Automating it
Before you start
- The Grok Bot app, installed and signed in. New? See where to download it and installing and signing in.
- Your store connected, either with a connector (like Shopify Merchant) or its API (see platform comparison).
- Google Sheets connected (how).
1. Design
Tabs: Orders (one row per order) and Summary (totals by day/week, top products, refunds, a chart).
2. Do it once
- Ask:
Pull last week's orders into a new sheet 'Sales 2026': date, order #, items, units, total, refunded. Add a Summary tab with revenue by day and a chart.
- Compare totals to your store's own report.
3. Automate
"Every Monday at 7 AM, append last week's orders and refresh the summary." (Routines.)
4. Check regularly
Once a month, compare with your platform's built-in report.
Ideas to try
- Side hustle.
Build a weekly sales sheet and tell me my best day.
- Tax time.
Make a yearly summary by month.
- Products.
Rank products by revenue for the last 90 days.
- Refunds.
Add a refund-rate column per product.
Tips
- Agree on "revenue" (before or after refunds, tax, shipping).
- Keep raw orders and summary separate.
- Don't store more customer data than you need.
