BotDemoLab.com is an education-only website with free lessons on building bots. This page explains, in plain language, what data is involved when you visit.
No accounts or sign-ups
There are no accounts, logins, sign-up forms, comment forms or newsletters on this site. We don't ask you for your name, email address or any other personal details.
What data is collected
Hosting and network logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics. The site does not currently run any analytics or tracking scripts of its own. If that changes, this page will be updated.
Cookies
BotDemoLab itself does not set cookies. If advertising is shown on the site (see below), Google and its partners may set and read cookies or use similar technologies in your browser.
Advertising through Google AdSense
We may use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your rights in the EEA and UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we don't collect personal details directly, most data about your visit is held by Cloudflare and, if ads are shown, by Google. Where required, ads will only use cookies for personalization with your consent.
Your rights in California
If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to ask for it to be deleted, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't sell personal information. You can limit personalized ads with the opt-out links above.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
